no side XR badges
no rear wing
bonnet vents look like they sit on top of the bonnet, not embossed like real XR's
no tickford badge on the rockercover
looks like GLi/Futura seats
also i dont think XR's come in that colour. i think wagons were just red white and blue

Q: Hi garry this is the 3rd time i am requesting the vin number so i can do a revs check it would be appreciated if you could forward this information to me so that i can ckeck its authenticity thank you. 28-May-10
A: Hi there, the vin # is 6fpaaajgwatt98149 It will not come up as a XR because Ford never made a XR wagon in these models only in the sedans. This wagon was made by Ford from a Gli wagon, this is what Ford told me. Cheers, Garry

haha yeh and no-where does he mention its illegal either. One of the stupidest mods I can think of, if a car ran up the back of you they could easily claim your brake lights where not visible. I know its usually the person behinds fault but a good argument could show that the deliberate act of reducing brake light visibility absolves the following car of responsibility for not stopping in time. Plus im sure insurance would be more than willing to say that your not covered for that damage either. Could end up being the most expensive mod they've ever done lol.

I just bought one on Sunday and it was in my mailbox yesterday (Tuesday). Seems like a great deal for anyone with a busted cog.
