One less Commodore - One less tool!
Re: One less Commodore - One less tool!
I've been hearing about heaps of these lately, though of course it is nothing new. Extreme apathy towards road safety could be linked with economic conditions, or perhaps a lack of positive role models in the lives of the young individuals in question.
Modern cars are far safer, yet also far more powerful than older models, and these two factors seem to cancel each other out in the context of hoon driving!

that guy in the blue VY...i wouldnt be driving for a while if i were him. if he was a split second later in what he did, his pretty baby blue thing would be around the pole, not up the wire.

No one deserves to die in a car.
What ever these people were doing in their cars they were tools, there are just some things you don't do when the weather has turned to shit, the most important two are
1: DONT speed
2: Dont be a dickhead/show off
i feel bad for the families i feel bad for the friends and if they were being irresponsible i don't feel bad for the driver, everyone knows the risks when they go to do something stupid, eventually everyone pays.
ill be the first to admit ive done stupid things, but i never do anything in poor conditions or in the presence of other vehicles or passengers.

That 18 and 19 year old males preform statutory rape on a daily basis, and 13 and 15 yr old girls are Sluts?.oneredED wrote:Ive noticed this is a recurring theme... is there a correlation to be made here?Frost wrote:I read it in the paper.

One would assume the "king wank" factor of showing off was the main cause of this accident.

18-19 year old males provide Alcohol and sick rides for the 13-15 mini sluts who perform sexual favours. The Males show off there rides (Note, 'ride' usually referring to a Vn-VX commodore 's' pac') in a wooing perfomance involving high speed demos and sick single peggers.

Ya never hear about drink drivers crashing. The standard two reasons ar 'hoon' or 'young driver'.
Normally followed by the elderly.

Sometimes the media avoids 'taboo' topics regarding ill acts which it fears would be encouraged by open discussion. Not saying drink driving would be one of those, but suicides involving the train network are very much in that category.

Joshua Shelton lost his arm in a crash, then lost his car
HeraldSun wrote: A YOUNG hoon who lost his arm in a car crash remains unrepentant after he was involved in two hoon-related offences in less than two hours.
Joshua Shelton's arm was amputated this year after he crashed his car at high speed on the Calder Highway in Ravenswood.
Less than two months later, while still recovering from the crash, the Bendigo 19-year-old lost his licence after being caught by police doing doughnuts.
On Sunday morning he proved he still hadn't learnt his lesson when he came under police attention twice in 90 minutes for his involvement in separate hoon-related activities.
Mr Shelton claims he is being victimised by police and denied he was placing himself in further danger.
"We weren't doing any harm, I've got to live with this for the rest of my life," he said.
"The cops have put a target on my head, I would sue but I haven't got a leg to stand on."
Mr Shelton's most recent run-in with police was at 2.30am on Sunday when he was a passenger in his own late-model Holden Calais.
The driver of the car, a 19-year-old friend, was pulled over by police after he was caught doing burnouts in Bendigo East.
A second car carrying several of Mr Shelton's mates was also impounded under anti-hoon laws.
Just 90 minutes later Mr Shelton was the passenger in another vehicle caught performing burnouts.
Again, the car was seized and impounded.
Bendigo traffic Sgt Peter Beaman said he was shocked by Mr Shelton's repeated behaviour.
The senior traffic management unit officer said: "Apart from dying, he has experienced one of the worst possible outcomes from a road accident.
"That's what makes it even more baffling, he has first hand knowledge of what the possible outcomes can be.
"I'm at a loss to explain what they were thinking. It's typical of what young people today think, they seem to live for the moment.
"I just don't understand that, they don't seem to understand the seriousness of it."
Mr Shelton's mother, Ruth Gray, said her son deserved a second chance.
"He's had massive health problems," she said.
"People don't understand what he's been through with his health . . . he gets very frustrated."
It is believed Mr Shelton's car was bought with the proceeds of a TAC payout stemming from the road crash that caused his arm to be amputated.

Lol, hes a victim of the police cause he lost his arm?
Sounds like a tosser.
Shame he lost his arm, also a shame he gets money from the TAC for the rest of his natural life among other things and doesnt accept it gracefully.
