The quickest I have personally driven a car is 190 in my ED (AUTO). went from 120 to 190 in about 900m.
Fastest in car, 225 in a HYundai Elantra.
Fastest = 255 on a motorbike. My cousin was in control and I had already shit myself at 200!!!

The car - only 220km/h Calder track day
The SV - only 255km/h
The mates GSXR (him riding) - 299km/h when the speedo stopped. Kept pulling another 40ish km/h

150 in my Patrol. I win.

180k in my own car, handling absoluty sucked (tyres 205's) They were only good for smokin'
220k in a brothers xr8.

EA - over 200
EF - around 160 - 180

vs commo 220, was a auto and was in 3rd, still had drive to go, had heaps left in it

the commo whould have shifted into 4th even tho you were in 3rd

eb 5 litre clocked digital speedo at 199, doing approx 220 acording to my mate in his car

been in my brother in laws lc torry, 350 chev nitrous, 8.9 with the gas and slicks. 10-11 seconds on street trim 170 mph down princess high way dragging a vl :0

speedo reading 170 in my mates r33 drift skyline (mookrg) that was the wheel speed whiles sideways not sure the acutal speed but it was fast.

140kph in first aint that hard its all in the gearing with the ol 9" diff you can go down to a 2.75 I think and with the right ratio toploader and big revs they would prolly do 140kph without to many dramas

I used to run a HQ Statesman way back when, mild 327 Chev 2 speed powerglide and a 10 bolt sailsbury with 2.60 ratio would do 100mph (160kph) in 1st then chirp 2nd.... slow as off the line but once you got up it and past 3000rpm was all good

About 100 in a 50 zone going for runs in the WRX (quiet street mind you)

150 in my old EB XR6 (very empty road)

Fastest thing ive been control of was a cessna 152 - comming out of an incipient spin doing 180knotts pointing straight down at the ocean

205kph in a vt gtr commondore and the fastest i have gone is 170 in works mitsubishi colt.

Thats what I was thinking too. 3.00 Bathurst diff, 7000rpm motor and short ratio toploader. The shit thing is if that car could do 140 at say 7000rpm, it'll be doing 40kmh at 2000rpm in 1st, what a bitch that would be to launch...

Fastest in my car: Been to the limiter
Fastest passenger: Around 230km/h in a 2000 model Suburu Liberty B6 Turbo - so so stable at that speed
Faster driven: Over 200km/h doing a V8Experience drive. Saw 200 and decided to look at the road instead

i got pulled over in the freeway in an 80 zone it was construction area, i was doin 150 in the EB, TMU followd me for a 1137m in an unmarked VZ SS Crewman and averaged me out at 135....
still havnt herd nothin from it yet....*crosses fingers*

don't know, the el speedo only goes to 220. only been past 220 once at a race track.

at the drags i usually go to the rev limit in 4th witch is about 210kph

Clipless pedals are the bicycle equivalent of ARP rod bolts I think I overheated the front pads (normal rim brakes) when I stopped though, they felt really 'grindy' for a while afterwards - like a car with a couple of metal to metal pads lol. I should get a pic of the hill...there is a T-intersection at the bottom

275 in a monaro at calder

180kph in the EA less than a week after I got it... back when I was young and stupid. It handled it alright, but I haven't ever done it since.
